For the final project, we were told to get inspired by the billboards around us and we are either to recreate a better billboard or to make an artwork about how we feel about the billboards we see.

I chose to be inspired by billboards related to cosmetics when I was at Bukit Bintang streets, hunting for billboards.

So, I came across to these few and I didn't really liked them as I feel like they aren't as attracting because of how messy it is, like there's too much to focus and there's not contrast. Not only that, I feel like the colours isn't that harmonious.Then, I decided to recreate a better one and a much more simpler one that's more eye-catching one.

I choose some photos to start with for my billboard remaking.

After that, I start editing them using Adobe Photoshop.


My initial idea was this but Ms. Sherry wanted it to be more simpler and I agreed too as I initially was going for a simple and harmonious billboard. And, Ms. Sherry preferred it to be empty and just needed the model and the flowers inside the billboard only as it is pretty as it is.



I wasn't really that satisfied as I feel like it is pretty and simple but at the same time, I like it because it is very nice just the way it is. So, I thought of adding a few eye shadow palettes and a highlighter palette to show that the main point is I'm focusing on cosmetics as said in my title.
